Emma to Ava : (while shaking her fists in the baby's face) "Wanna tussle, wanna tussle, huh? huh?" Can you tell she has older brothers?
Emma to Ava : (in the bathtub) "Wet's pay wightsavers(lightsabers) Ava!" As she hands her the plastic rose petal cottage couch and she takes the plastic bed.
Emma to Ava : (While laying face to face with her on a blanket...singing) "Wock-a-bye baby in the tweetops, when the wind bwows the cwadle will wock. When the bow bweaks the cwadle will fall, and down will come Ava, cwadle and all." (I walked in on this and it melted my heart)
Mommy to Emma : (in the doctor's office waiting room) "Emma go play with all the kids at the puzzle table...it's ok, go have fun."
Emma to Mommy : "NO, it's not safe!"
Emma to Mommy : (possibly after returning from the bathroom or some such other far away place) "Mommy, I missed you for two days."
Emma : "I want a popsicker (popsicle)."
Mommy : Ok, that's fine.
Emma : " This the best day Eeeever!"
Emma : (upon waking from a nap) "I'm so sad. I need my boys and my Daddy."
Emma to the ENTIRE congregation at church, almost every Sunday : "I'm HEEERE!"
Emma after returning from a diaper change : "I'm BACK!"
Emma to Mommy : (while Mommy is sitting in the middle of a very solemn relief society lesson) "I've got balls (poopy balls), I've got big balls. Get them OUT!" (Mommy is mortified, and quickly runs out of the room)
Emma to anyone within shouting distance : (using her best manners,of course, if she might possibly accidentally burp or toot) "Burp me." or "Poot me."

Baptism Day
I know...I cannot believe my boy is 8! Oh how the years have just passed me by. It really does feel like he was a baby just yesterday. Sometimes it's hard to admit that my boys are growing into men. I'm not quite ready for that. I think I'll keep them for a few years yet! Sunday John and Jack (best friends since birth, probably before) were baptized. It was such a sweet day. The boys were soooo excited and have been counting down the days for quite some time. Jack actually turned eight in June, but he insisted on waiting for John's birthday, so that they could be baptized on the same day. Those two are such characters! They love each other so much. They are funny and silly and happy and good. Just look at those toothy grins. They were so excited and proud of their baptism day! For those of you who don't know, they were also blessed together. They'll go their missions together, and probably get married and have families together. They are two of a kind. Cut from the same cloth. Seperated at birth. Brothers from another mother! What a blessing they are to each of their families! And how proud we are of them and their decision to be baptized. We love you John and Jack!
